Service Description

This component of the program is designed to assist individuals to identify issues that have led to such activities, to assist them in addressing these issues and to find solutions that are socially acceptable. Research indicates that while some commit crime because of economic need or peer pressure, this, for many, is an early symptom of gathering depression. The individual may be experiencing marital problems, feeling anxiety, depression, isolation and anger. The individual often lacks self-confidence, finds it difficult to express his/ her feelings and has trouble making decisions. This 4-week program helps individuals reflect on their past behaviour, and its impact, in order to make meaningful and positive changes in their lives. Participants learn about common thinking errors and gain the skills they need to create positive futures for themselves.
